December 2011 three members of Slum Cinema Chapter Kampala travelled to the Kenya capital Nairobi for a week special training course mobile reporter for Slum Journal International. The main goal was to train them as reporters for the regular contributions as local stringers and videoreporters from Uganda.
Frey Wamala and Fathil Mohamed Okello were selected to become the unique local stringers for the online video journal. Mr. Wamala is also the coordinator of Slum Cinema Chapter Kampala in Uganda. The studio of this SLC-Chapter is located in Ovino market in the slums of Kisenyi.
